Proposal Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Proposal Manager to support our various initiatives within our Marketing Department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal, execution, research, writing, and organizational skills. This will be a hybrid role with requirements of 2-3 days a week in one of EisnerAmper’s offices located throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan, strategize, and execute proposal documents and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for prospects and clients
• Incorporate the latest technologies, including AI (Claude, ChatGPT), to enhance the proposal process and increase efficiency
• Draft proposal responses based on insight from prospect meetings and RFP requirements
• Collaborate with internal team members on proposal win themes
• Edit and compile final proposal documents and prepare for submission, delivery, and tracking
• Organize and maintain critical databases of proposal content, including firm statistical details, services, industry experience, case studies, and other related data
• Work closely with operations, technical, and service area subject matter experts to gather information required for proposal development
• Translate and communicate technical material and concepts into accessible content for audiences with mixed levels of expertise
• Develop prospect meeting presentations, booklets, and other marketing collateral
• Record proposals in process in the proposals pipeline once issued
• Communicate with supervisor any obstacles or items of concern
• Provide courteous and prompt service to all internal and external parties
• Prioritize and address requests and assignments in a professional and cooperative manner
• Multi-task, project manage, and adhere to strict deadlines
• Assist co-workers in the completion of tasks and assignments to ensure continuity of service
• Actively support teamwork throughout the organization
• Support and contribute to other departmental areas, as needed
• Perform other services as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, accounting, business administration, or related field
• 5+ years of proposal experience (RFP Government and/or Advisory experience preferred)
• Knowledge and experience using proposal software (Qvidian, Templafy, Storydoc)
• Experience with AI in the proposal process

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong business writing/AP style
• Professional services experience
• Extensive experience with MS Office 365, particularly Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with other marketing computer software and online applications
• Prior proposal experience, especially responding to Government proposals
• Good understanding of marketing principles, sales philosophy, and the accounting industry
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Minimal travel required
