In This Role
You will serve as an Estimating and Cost Volume lead/support on a broad range of small to medium-sized proposals. Product areas include Advanced Strategic Programs and Missile Defense Programs. Candidate will develop, plan, and schedule proposal activities in coordination with the proposal team. Develops proposals in accordance with RFP specifications, TINA, FAR, DFAR, and company policies and procedures. Will analyze and compile historical data, build cost models, and assist in the development of cost estimates to support quick turn pricing exercises. Participates in fact-finding meetings and pricing reviews with management and the customer.
Desired Skills
- Experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proposal cost estimator experience.
- Knowledge of the proposal process and BOEs.
- 2+ years of related experience.
