About the role
Richman Property Services (RPS), Inc., is currently seeking a Property Manager to join their growing team at Cyrus, a new (currently under construction) 264-unit affordable residential community in Northeast Austin, TX (78723).
Responsibilities
- Manage the apartment community to achieve maximum marketing and financial results
- Implement Company policies in leasing, accounting, maintenance, and resident relations
- Supervise and motivate on-site personnel
- Control budget objectives and expenditures
- Perform market analysis and suggest competitive prices
- Coordinate resident services and activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state regulations, and safety standards
- Direct community maintenance and improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience managing high-volume multi-family residential affordable communities (TDHC/LIHTC)
- Familiarity with Yardi property management software products (Affordable versions)
- Prior Lease-Up experience with new construction multi-family affordable residential communities
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking applicants preferred
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience; college coursework or training in Property Management preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the apartment industry with supervisory/management experience, especially new construction lease-ups. Prior experience managing mid to large-size affordable communities required
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and Equal Employment guidelines
- Skills & Certifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software (e.g., Yardi), strong communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills Registered Apartment or CAM Manager certification preferred
- Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus!
