Escobed at Verde Vista is a vibrant 132-unit affordable housing community featuring LIHTC and Project-Based Voucher (PBV) units. We're looking for an organized, approachable, and confident Property Manager who can balance exceptional resident service with strong operational leadership. Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of a 132-unit affordable housing community.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and community partners in a busy, high-traffic leasing office.
- Manage leasing activity, resident move-ins and move-outs, renewals, and occupancy goals.
- Oversee affordable housing compliance, including LIHTC and PBV requirements, resident certifications, and required documentation.
- Supervise, coach, and support an onsite team consisting of an Assistant Manager, Senior Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Technician, and Part-Time Groundskeeper.
- Monitor budgets, rent collections, accounts receivable, invoices, and overall property financial performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the community, ensuring the grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean, safe, and inviting while partnering with the team and pitching in when needed to maintain curb appeal.
- Coordinate vendor services, obtain bids, and oversee projects that maintain and improve the community.
- Respond professionally to resident concerns, resolve issues, and foster a welcoming community environment.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of property management experience within affordable housing.
- Previous experience working with LIHTC & PBV programs.
- A proven ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally for business purposes.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
