About the Role

Management Services Corporation (MSC), a leading property management firm and part of The Caton Companies, is seeking a seasoned Property Manager/Portfolio Manager (multi-site manager) for our Charlottesville, Virginia, main office. We manage over 50 properties around the UVA Grounds and are looking for an experienced professional to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall management of MSC Apartments to maximize income, minimize expenses, and preserve and increase property value.
• Serve as a resource for the Senior Regional Property Manager.
• Provide professional, ethical management and quality service to all residents.
• Standardize policies and procedures related to the management departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Knowledge of apartment property management, typically acquired through two years of experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree plus five years of experience in property management.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with typical work hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend and after-hours work may be required, along with participation in a year-long on-call rotation with other managers.
