Property and Asset Analyst II
Position Responsibilities
Oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer, and US Government assets accountable to the company, or within its possession, are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence.
Establish and maintain asset accountability records.
Cook up and maintain control procedures.
Conduct internal and external process assessments in meeting regulatory requirements and analyze results for financial and operational purposes.
Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to asset life-cycle management.
Determine, recommend, and implement property/asset management policy and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry leading practices, and voluntary consensus standards.
Support internal and external customer audits.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- 2 - 5 years of related property and asset management experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control systems, record-keeping techniques, flow-chart creation and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of government property administration principles, theories and concepts as well as a strong understanding of property administration practices, techniques, and standards.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business processes associated with the asset management lifecycle.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other related discipline preferred.
- Prior experience in PCARSS and UII processes is preferred.
- NPMA training and/or certification is desired.
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties.
