Analyst II - Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Performs computer systems analysis, applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, modifies computer systems, and plans.
• Aids in the administration of IT inventory and asset management.
• Adheres to enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures, and ensures corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets.
• Provides guidance, mentoring, training, and project task fulfillment.

Requirements

• Organizes and maintains equipment, parts, and tools.
• Stocks shelves, documents stock, ships and tracks incoming and outgoing equipment from inventory, ensures security of assets in inventory, receives orders, validates receiving documentation, validates receipt of orders, distributes orders after receipt, packs & unpacks equipment.
• Receives equipment/software requests, monitors procurement/deployment.
• Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information and updates, and assists in developing Enterprise wide IT purchasing standards and procedures.
• Obtains quotes, creates and processes purchase requests, tracks & documents purchases against budget, administers IT purchase, licensing and inventory systems.
• Captures and tracks all hardware devices, participates in annual capital equipment inventory and space inventory.
• Reports for emergency response and performs tasks assigned.
• Documents and submits new content to the knowledgebase and maintains team website.
• Identifies and documents hardware and software standards in collaboration with appropriate departments.
• Uses communication skills to listen to, identify & address customer needs while building a relationship and rapport with customers.
• Buils positive working relationships with team members, managers & all departments.
• Prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to needs of the customer.
• Proactively or timely recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT Finance, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT Finance, or a related discipline.
• Required: 3 years of experience in software/hardware IT asset management, IT Finance, or related field.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation; Certified Hardware Asset Management, Certified Software Asset Manager, IAITAM administration certification or similar.
