Responsibilities

The Asset Management Analyst II will perform computer systems analysis, apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, modify computer systems, and assist with the administration of IT inventory and asset management. This role ensures adherence to enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures, and corporate and legal guidelines for managing IT hardware and software assets. Additionally, the Asset Management Analyst II will provide guidance, mentoring, training, and project task fulfillment.

  • Organizes and maintains equipment, parts, and tools.
  • Stocks shelves, documents stock, ships and tracks incoming and outgoing equipment from inventory, ensures security of assets in inventory.
  • Receives, validates, and distributes orders; packs and unpacks equipment.
  • Receives equipment/software requests and monitors procurement/deployment.
  • Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information, and updates.
  • Assists in developing enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures.
  • Obtains quotes, creates and processes purchase requests, tracks and documents purchases against budget, administers IT purchase, licensing, and inventory systems.
  • Coordinates physical inventory and tracks all hardware devices, participating in annual capital equipment inventory and space inventory.
  • Generates reports for emergency response and performs assigned tasks.
  • Documents and submits new content to the knowledgebase and maintains the team website.
  • Identifies and documents hardware and software standards in collaboration with appropriate departments.
  • Uses communication skills to listen to, identify, and address customer needs while building relationships and rapport.
  • Builds positive working relationships with team members, managers, and all departments.
  • Prioritizes and responds promptly based on severity levels to customer needs.
  • Proactively or timely recognizes opportunities for service recovery and acts to resolve issues.

  • Completes IT Governance and IT project assignments to ensure achievement of established project milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT Finance, or a related discipline (Preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of work-related experience in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT Finance, or a related discipline (Required).
  • 3 years of experience in software/hardware IT asset management, IT Finance, or a related field (Required).

Qualifications

  • ITIL Foundation certification (Preferred).
  • Certified Hardware Asset Management, Certified Software Asset Manager, IAITAM administration certification, or similar (Preferred).

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 4x10 schedule.
