Job Summary

The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision making across the organization. This role will lead a team of data analysts and engineers to implement advanced analytics solutions, enhance data infrastructure, and provide actionable insights to inform business strategies.

About the Role

As the Director of Data & Analytics, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports the growth and success of Jackpot.com. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data strategies, ensuring that data is used effectively to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of data strategies that align with business goals
• Oversee the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data pipelines and storage solutions
• Develop and maintain data models and analytical tools to support decision-making processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements
• Provide guidance on best practices in data engineering, analytics, and data science
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience leading data teams and managing complex data projects
• Experience with data warehousing technologies such as Fivetran and Airflow
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
• Expertise in Python and other relevant programming languages
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Knowledge of causal inference and A/B testing methodologies
• Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data engineering
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of data professionals
• Experience with data modeling and predictive analytics
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
