Promotions Planning Manager
About the role
A Florida-based e-commerce company in the luxury goods space is looking for a Promotions Manager to take ownership of its promotions calendar and strategy. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys planning, testing, and refining product-based deals that actually move the needle on sales, not just check boxes on a calendar.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing how recurring promotions perform over time to spot trends, saturation, or improvement areas
- Running post-mortems on promotions and making clear recommendations about what to repeat, change, or retire
- Planning the promotions calendar with curated product selections, smart pricing, and accurate scheduling
- Working with marketing and merchandising teams to gather assets, confirm timing, and make sure everyone's aligned
- Proposing new promotion ideas and adjusting based on feedback, performance data, and seasonal context
- Making sure promotions run exactly as planned, with all rules, SKUs, and timing correctly set up
- Using your judgment to build bundled offers, themed collections, and incentives that customers actually want
- Navigating the shopping cart system to review sales results and confirm product and pricing behavior
- Reviewing competitor promotions to stay competitive and informed
- Helping QA active promotions before launch to catch issues before customers do
- Choosing which offers get premium placement on-site based on goals and expected revenue
- Monitoring live promotion performance and making adjustments when something’s not working
- Selecting products based on inventory, demand, and velocity goals to keep things moving without stockouts
- Cooking with cross-functional teams including marketing, merchandising, and purchasing
- Staying organized in the day-to-day: updating the calendar, using checklists, documenting details, and owning your work
- Spotting and flagging issues like broken links or incorrect promo pages during live campaigns
- Understanding email performance metrics (open and click rates) and how they connect to promotion success
- Learning new product categories over time and getting familiar with what sells and why
Qualifications
- You live in the state of Florida and are able to work remotely full-time, Monday through Friday
- You’ve run promotions for a business with a large product catalog (1,000+ active SKUs)
- You understand the difference between pushing products and setting up promotions that sell on their own
- You're comfortable working cross-functionally and remotely, with good written communication and a detail-focused mindset
- When something doesn’t go as planned, you take responsibility, fix it, and make sure it doesn’t happen again
- You’re looking for a long-term role at a company that values structure, clarity, and quality work
