About the role

We are looking for an all-round ICT engineer to join our team at Init3. This position will be based in Heerenveen, Friesland, Noord-Nederland.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various IT systems
• Perform system administration tasks including server management, network configuration, and security updates
• Develop and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, and C#
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new technologies
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with IT policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in IT support and/or development
• Strong understanding of Windows Server, Linux, and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly

Skills

• Technical proficiency in multiple programming languages
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
