About the role

The System Offices is one of several system members within the Texas A&M University System representing one of the largest systems of higher education in the nation, with a network of 12 universities, a comprehensive health science center, eight state agencies, Texas A&M – Fort Worth and the Texas A&M - RELLIS Campus. The Texas A&M University System mission is to provide education, conduct research, commercialize technology, offer training, and deliver services for the people of Texas and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Event Management: Assist in managing event services, including reservations, scheduling, planning, billing, and post-event evaluations.
  • Support the development and oversight of unit budgets, coordinating with various departments to ensure all logistical aspects of events are handled efficiently, while also evaluating their success and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work with other System member offices and agencies, building and maintaining strong working relationships across the Texas A&M University System through regular communication and coordination with different offices.
  • Operational Support: Support the Texas A&M-Fort Worth Director of Operations with event and external relation procedure development, monitoring project timelines and communicating needs clearly, and recommending program, project, or process improvements.
  • External Relations: Assist in coordinating external relations and cultivating relationships with stakeholders of Texas A&M-Fort Worth, engaging with key stakeholders to foster support and collaboration, and organizing meetings, preparing briefing materials, and ensuring that stakeholder interactions are productive and aligned with the institution's strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support the management of relationships with strategic groups and constituencies, briefing staff in advance of priority engagements and attending engagements to offer on-site support, including preparing detailed briefings, managing logistics for engagements, and providing support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three years of related experience.

Pay

Salary $4,617.67 - $6,541.66 per month commensurate with experience.
