About the role
The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) seeks a Project Specialist to support the Vice President for Advancement and Indianapolis & Regional Development Leadership Team. This role combines project coordination, executive support, process improvement, and event planning.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and manage projects that align with fundraising and advancement objectives.
- Create polished presentations, reports, donor briefings, and leadership communications.
- Plan and execute meetings, events, and leadership forums.
- Keep track of project timelines and make sure tasks are completed on time.
- Spot opportunities to enhance processes and boost efficiency.
- Support fundraising efforts with research, donor info, and meeting materials.
- Collaborate with university leaders, development staff, and foundation partners.
- Be a go-to resource for the Indianapolis & Regional Development team.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Three or more years of professional experience are preferred.
- Experience in project management, operations, administrative support, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
