Project Specialist 2

Position Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product knowledge and order entry procedures for all products.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage new job setup, documentation, and maintain project files.
• Negotiate special pricing multipliers with manufacturers.
• Order equipment from manufacturers and process returns accurately and efficiently.
• Track and communicate project milestones, lead times, and delivery schedules to contractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate shipping/logistics with manufacturers and customers.
• Provide customers with installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
• Work with manufacturers and clients in processing warranty and freight claims.
• Identify and proactively resolve potential issues related to schedule conflicts, equipment compatibility, or factory delays.
• Support billing, project closeout, and performance tracking.
• Work closely with account executives, engineering, and parts/service teams to support overall project success.
• Participate in team meetings and product training to enhance industry knowledge.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MAPICS, Savion and Infor/Powerlink.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to consistently provide high-quality accurate results.
• Ability to be flexible and identify answers that are not always readily available.
• Basic ability to review Mechanical Schedules and specifications to identify product and basis of design.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Experience

• 2 - 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Education/Certification

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required.

People Management

• No Physical Requirements / Work Environment.

Salary Range

$74,630 - $93,315
