Project Scientist Series - Open Positions in Physiology & Biophysics (2026-2027)
Project Scientist Series positions are occasionally available in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. Applications are sought from candidates with a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, a strong laboratory research background, publications, and specialized training in biomedical, biological sciences, or related fields. This is an ongoing recruitment with positions dependent on extramural funding. Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent on availability of support.
Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $79,400 - $209,000. The hourly rate is $38.03 - $100.10. Salary is determined by rank and step at appointment based on the posted UC salary scales for represented roles.
Qualifications
