We are a leading company in the electrical manufacturing and distribution industry, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Sales Manager for our Wires Division in Kathmandu, Nepal.
About the role
The Project Sales Manager will drive project sales growth, develop key client relationships, secure product specifications, and expand market presence across commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong business development capabilities, project sales expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project sales strategies for the Wires Division.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, industrial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
- Establish strong relationships with consultants, architects, contractors, developers, and key stakeholders.
- Secure product approvals and specifications for company wire products in upcoming projects.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key project influencers and decision-makers.
- Monitor project pipelines and track potential business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Identify emerging trends and recommend strategies to increase market share.
- Expand the company’s presence within the electrical and construction sectors.
- Participate in tender submissions, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and project execution.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, project updates, and performance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project sales, business development, or key account management.
- Proven experience in the wires, cables, electrical products, switchgear, lighting, or construction materials industry.
- Strong network with consultants, architects, contractors, builders, developers, EPC contractors, and institutional clients.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Sound understanding of project sales cycles, tender processes, specifications, and contract negotiations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project sales of electrical wires and cables.
- Strong understanding of Nepal’s construction and infrastructure market.
- Proven ability to manage large projects and key accounts.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
