What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day execution of transmission and substation projects from final design through construction and commissioning.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and field teams.
- Maintain project schedules, action items, deliverables, and execution plans.
- Identify project challenges early and work with internal teams and contractors to develop solutions.
- Review engineering deliverables and construction plans to support execution readiness.
- Cookordination with engineering teams to resolve design issues and field constraints.
- Support construction sequencing, logistics planning, and resource coordination.
- Track contractor progress and help ensure commitments are being met.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain project documentation, reporting, and project controls.
- Support change management, risk tracking, and mitigation planning.
- Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate project meetings with internal teams, contractors, utilities, developers, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, status reports, and issue tracking.
- Build strong working relationships with project partners while keeping execution priorities on track.
- Identify execution risks and coordinate mitigation plans.
- Ensure project activities align with permitting requirements, environmental commitments, and regulatory obligations.
- Maintain organized project records and documentation.
About You
- 5+ years of experience managing transmission, substation, utility, renewable energy, or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting projects through late-stage development, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong understanding of EPC delivery models, construction processes, and project controls.
- Experience coordinating engineering teams, contractors, and field execution activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and keep teams aligned.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where ownership, accountability, and problem-solving are critical.
- You have a “do what needs to be done” mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and customers supported and moving forward.
