Project Manager (Sales)
About the role
The Project Manager oversees production projects from initial specification through final delivery, ensuring all quality, timeline, and customer requirements are met. This role serves as the central point of coordination across production, quality, supply chain, sales support, graphics, and logistics teams, guiding projects through key manufacturing stages including prototyping, chip processing, and final production. In addition to core project management duties, this position supports a variety of activities as assigned by Management, including document preparation, account management assistance, and related tasks. The Project Manager also serves as a communication liaison—at the direction of Management—with internal departments, outside vendors, and customers. Spanish fluency is mandatory for these interactions. The role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a visible impact on production efficiency and client satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Project Management Tasks: Oversee production projects from specification to delivery, coordinating across multiple teams.
- Account Management:
- Serve as the day-to-day contact person for assigned customer accounts.
- Assist in preparing materials and reports for meetings with key customers.
- Carry out tasks related to clients at the direction of the Sales Operation Director, VP of Technical Sales, and other senior leadership.
- Participate in client meetings as required by Management.
- In-House Design Sessions Coordination: Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to coordinate design sessions for individual projects.
- Marketing:
- Prepare literature packages for use by Management at industry events.
- Update current product and service literature as directed.
- Conduct web research on competitive websites and targeted prospect groups.
- New Product Development:
- Research potential vendors and raw materials for new product development projects.
- Contact designated vendors to gather information and materials for ongoing projects.
- Participate in weekly new product development meetings.
- Industry Events:
- Assist in preparing materials for Management presentations at domestic and international events.
- Make arrangements with event associations for Management participation.
- Coordinate communications with partners and vendors related to industry events.
- Internal Projects: Follow up on in-house projects to ensure timely completion as directed by Management.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve relevant project situations with timely corrective action.
- Engage in and support companywide safety and cleanliness programs.
- Handle email correspondence and follow-ups when other office personnel are absent.
- Contribute to the company’s EMS (Environment Management System) by adhering to recycling guidelines, proper waste disposal, and other environmental performance practices.
- Perform other job functions as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- BS or BA degree required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written); this role involves regular communication with Spanish-speaking production staff, vendors, and/or customers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload.
- High level of computer literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
