About the role

Managing the implementation of small to medium projects. Provides overall leadership and support to project team members. Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the project risks and issues and escalates accordingly. Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders, and with Finance and develops ROI, IRR and other financial measures. Manages stakeholders' communication and escalates accordingly. Adheres to program and project governance (controls). Plans the overall project and monitors the progress and performs Daily project management throughout the project's life cycle. Manages the projects budget and financial performance. Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies. Manages and utilizes resources. Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project's outcome with the aid of the business change manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Understand current and future business goals and ongoing IT issues to ensure business success
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • In depth understanding of project management concepts

Experience

  • More than four years of project management experience
  • Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Clarity, etc.)

Education

  • Bachelors' degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field
  • PMP, Prince 2 and/or Agile certification (preferred but not required)

Pay

This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of X% of the base salary.
