Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee project design teams.
- Create, implement, and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Coach, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to staff.
- Provide technical reviews and QA/QC for projects.
- Act as the main point of contact with clients.
- Contribute to business development by cultivating client relationships and identifying opportunities.
- Prepare and review project proposals, qualification statements, and promotional materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a four-year college or university.
- 8+ years of related water/wastewater engineering design and management experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Nevada required; California P.E. license preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience leading and managing a team of technical staff in multiple disciplines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including public and client presentations.
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record with 3 or fewer demerit points.
