About the role

The Northeast Water business of GHD is expanding and we are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic and committed team in Pennsylvania. This pivotal role involves spearheading investigations, design development, and project execution for water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems across the state.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multi-disciplinary treatment facility designs
  • Conduct alternatives analyses and economic evaluations
  • Manage collection and distribution projects including linear and pumping systems
  • Lead treatability studies such as bench testing and pilot plant evaluations
  • Contribute to financial and operational reviews
  • Manage team performance, utilization, and engagement
  • Mentor emerging professionals and collaborate with senior business leaders to drive positive outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or closely related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA or ability to acquire it
  • At least 6 years of relevant water engineering experience

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of water regulations including wastewater treatment and conveyance, surface water treatment, lead and copper and disinfection byproduct rules
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
