About the role
The successful candidate will lead the planning, design, and construction of various water-related projects including wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater systems serving communities across the region. Key responsibilities include conducting planning studies, preparing engineering reports, overseeing design and construction efforts, leading multi-disciplinary teams, troubleshooting complex system operations, and developing innovative solutions for treatment and conveyance challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conducting planning studies and preparing engineering reports

- Guiding compliance reviews with state and federal regulations

Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within 2 years
- 10+ years of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater experience; previous work in the State of Massachusetts is a plus
- Experience in water and wastewater planning, design (collection systems, pump stations, wastewater and/or water treatment facilities), and construction

Pay
$98,700 - $188,000 based on experience & location
