About the Opportunity

Silvus is seeking a Project Manager who will report directly to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Operations within the Operations team. The successful candidate will serve as the primary tactical driver assisting the Director in translating operational strategy into structured, well-executed projects across multiple key operational domains. This position is based at Silvus Technologies' headquarters in West Los Angeles, CA, operating on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days onsite per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays), but is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location for candidates based in the Western US region, with a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to West Los Angeles HQ and local operational sites.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing Expansion & Optimization: Supporting tactical readiness, facility setup, capacity tracking, and operational ramp-up across local and multi-site manufacturing locations.
  • Technology & Digital Transformation: Driving project tracking and cross-functional alignment for business-critical enterprise systems implementations (e.g., ERP, CRM, MES).
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Leading projects aimed at maturing forecasting accuracy, process scalability, vendor risk mitigation, dual-sourcing strategies, and procurement frameworks.
  • Ad-Hoc Strategic & Operational Priorities: Leading special projects and emerging cross-functional initiatives aligned with evolving business needs and executive leadership priorities.
  • Strategic Project Execution: Convert broad initiative goals from the Director of Strategic Initiatives, Operations into actionable, resourced project plans with clear milestones and deliverables. Track day-to-day workstream execution velocity, driving on-time task completion and proactively clearing operational bottlenecks. Maintain executive-level project dashboards, risk logs, and progress metrics to provide full visibility to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination & Governance: Serve as the primary cross-functional facilitator between Operations, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and IT to ensure cross-departmental alignment and change adoption. Organize regularly scheduled working group meetings, capture clear action items, and ensure team accountability.
  • Risk Management & Project Health: Proactively identify project dependencies, timeline risks, and resource constraints across operational initiatives, escalating critical blockers early. Facilitate risk mitigation strategies with functional leads to keep schedule commitments on track and ensure operational readiness.
  • Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of progressive project management experience within operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating enterprise technology, business systems, or process-driven software rollouts.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional project plans, schedules, and deliverables using structured PM methodologies.
  • Proficiency with modern project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, SmartSheet) and building executive status dashboards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex risks clearly for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience managing full lifecycle implementations or major upgrades of core enterprise systems (specifically ERP, CRM, or MES).
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with high-growth, scaling companies in a regulated or complex assembly environment.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a combination of office, warehouse, manufacturing, and home-office environments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods across office and operational environments, and may be exposed to heat or cold. The employee may occasionally be required to work in manufacturing or warehouse environments with exposure to moderate noise, moving equipment, temperature variation, and production activity; lift or move items weighing up to 20 lbs; and traverse production floors, warehouses, or field sites, including walking or standing for extended durations.

Compensation

$90,000 – $130,000 base salary. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
