Project Manager, Operations

Job Summary

The Project Manager, Operations at Prominence Health fulfills a role in managing and driving key strategic projects and programs within the organization, with a focus on health plan innovation, value-based care, and support services enhancement. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives aligned with the organization's long-term goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related health care degree, MBA, or master’s in public health.
• Two years of Project Management experience working within the Healthcare Insurance industry preferred.
• Project Management certification preferred.
• Knowledge of computer systems and experience using databases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of computer applications.
• Some technical analysis skills required.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams is highly preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to convey goals and objectives clearly and in a compelling manner; listen effectively and clarify as needed.
• Confidence in decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities at the same time.
• Self-motivated and able to provide results with minimal supervision.
• Experience in managing multiple projects and reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills as well as personal initiative to lead people.
• Must be local in Reno, Nevada area. This position can be hybrid/remote-flexible, however; candidate must be in the Reno area to be considered. Will be expected to work in-office at least a few days per week.
