Project Manager (On-Site)

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business needs. You will collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Create the project management plan, including detailed project requirements, work breakdown structures, resources, roles and responsibilities, quality standards, and communication plans.
• Monitor and maintain the project schedule and budget.
• Engage with clients, manage their expectations, and build strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to develop project budgets.
• Manage deliverables and milestones to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
• Provide project and financial performance feedback to the CFO, Principal, and project team.
• Utilize a change management system to document out-of-scope work and support additional services.
• Negotiate key issues with architects, engineers, and officials from other organizations in collaboration with Principals.
• Provide daily team management and oversight; mentor less experienced team members.
• Handle all aspects of invoicing, including monthly billing projections.
• Execute continuing analyses for process improvement.
• Participate in and contribute to performance reviews where applicable.
• Develop expertise in Convenience, Grocery, Industrial, Multi-family, Restaurant, Retail, and Senior Living project types.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of industry experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Project Management.
