About the Role
TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Project Manager for new installation and modernization projects. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Assists in identifying opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of operational project management
- Fosters a culture of safety; administers company safety program and training as needed
- Coordinates target-specific programs and initiatives designed to improve performance within a product line, business unit, or specific project
- Assists in training Branch Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure consistent performance within a product line
- Assists Regional Project Manager and Region Vice-Presidents with management/implementation of cost (financial & labor) tracking and reporting system(s) at project, branch, and district levels
- Assesses operational workflow, resource utilization, technology, and skills to identify efficiency gains
- Develops solutions to meet and exceed organizational goals, quality, and cost objectives
- Coordinates internal resources for flawless execution of projects
- Ensures all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
- Assists in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensures resource availability and allocation
- Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
- Demonstrates understanding of Oracle and Servigistic programs
- Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Reports and escalates issues to management as needed
- Successfully manages relationships with all stakeholders
- Performs risk management to minimize project risks
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation and high-quality business updates
- Works closely with the USFO Team on all communication and project performance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Some travel required, up to 10%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in elevator/construction industry (desirable)
- Thorough knowledge of elevator equipment, the construction industry, and installation procedures
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or structural blueprints/drawings
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computation of rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Self-motivated with high energy and willingness to adapt to various personalities and situations
- Management experience covering all aspects of the job: safety, planning, scheduling, manpower, financials, and paperwork
- Ability to work in a large, busy, and sometimes stressful environment

Pay
Salary range: $80,000–$125,000 with additional annual incentive compensation (0% - 100%).
