About the role

Manage construction projects from project kickoff through final completion. Lead the execution of an upcoming $40M wood-frame multifamily project in Jamaica Plain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
• Lead client, design team, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project financial performance and maintain budget accountability.
• Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure schedule, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership and direction to project team members throughout all project phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing construction projects independently from start to finish.
• Experience working for a Commercial General Contractor.
• Multifamily Construction Experience Strongly Preferred, Particularly Wood-frame Projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
