Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

Our client in Tuscaloosa is looking to add a Project Manager experienced with Multifamily builds to their growing Construction firm.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of multifamily construction projects, from new builds to rehabilitation and affordable housing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from estimating and budgeting to forecasting and project management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, including new builds, rehabilitation, and affordable housing
• Manage estimating, budgeting, and forecasting for projects with budgets of $5-10 million
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Utilize project management software (preferably Procore)
• Lead and communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders
• Solve problems and make decisions under pressure

Requirements

• A proven track record as a Project Manager in multifamily construction
• Experience with projects budgeted at $5-10 million
• Proven experience in estimating, new builds, new construction, rehabilitation, affordable housing, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong knowledge of multifamily construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as needed
