Project Manager – Mobile Operations

Job Summary

The Mobile Operations Project Manager coordinates a technical team responsible for managing a large-scale fleet of corporate-owned mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) in a highly secure, firewalled environment. This role helps to ensure operational continuity, oversee mobile deployments and upgrades, manage vendor relationships, interface with executive stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position emphasizes operational execution, change readiness, project planning, and cost-effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Help oversee lifecycle management of ~50,000 mobile devices
• Plan and execute mobile technology projects (examples include Mobile Device Management (MDM) migrations, operating system upgrades, and solution deployments)
• Interface with stakeholders and deliver regular reporting
• Cook up with vendors and subcontractors
• Track budgets, review expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards
• Help drive continuous improvement and process optimization

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Strong project management in technical environments (PMP a plus)
• Fluency in mobile device management (Intune, Workspace ONE/AirWatch)
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Vendor management experience
• Financial acumen in budgeting and cost control
• Understanding of mobile security and compliance in high-security environments
• Adaptability and experience managing change in operational settings
