Job Summary
The Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned projects. Ensures all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed according to Company requirements, including safety, quality, management, and financial performance.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge project-related staff.
- Manage human resource issues and provide recommendations for performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and Company goals and objectives.
- Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
- Review job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections, and financial reporting.
- Manage quality and safety issues on customer work.
- Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
- Act as the Company liaison for interfacing with customer representatives.
- Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

- Self-motivated, positive approach, professional, and able to lead others.

- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, effective reading, writing, and oral presentation abilities.
- High skill level to interpret blueprints and project documents.
- Able to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
- Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
- Secured and maintained a Company-sponsored American Express Card.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Meets Company minimum driving standards.
- Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage to completion.
