About the role

As the Low Voltage Project Manager, you are the overall manager for assigned project(s). You ensure all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including safety, quality, management, and financial performance. The role demands efficient execution across staffing, materials management, financial oversight, customer care, and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Technical Manager and Engineering to define and implement FDC network operations policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor Network Operations Technicians across an assigned region.
  • Monitor regional network operations performance through audits, reporting, and site inspections.
  • Capture lessons learned and provide feedback to strengthen the overall group's network operations program.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for site-level quality issues.
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring all regional projects meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge security systems project-related staff as necessary.
  • Manage all human resource issues (escalating as needed) per Company policies and procedures.
  • Complete recommendations for project-related employees’ performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to meet all customer and Company goals and objectives.
  • Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
  • Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including preparation of invoices, customer collections, and periodic financial reporting to the customer and management.
  • Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
  • Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
  • Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and capable of leading others to create, develop, and implement project process improvements.
  • Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients, and business partners.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations.
  • High skill level in interpreting blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
  • Able to travel within branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express Card.
  • Proficiency with the following trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester, and 5-gang punch tool.

Qualifications

  • At least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
  • Meets Company minimum driving standards.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks, and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.

Pay

Annual salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 USD.
