Project Manager, Level II
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Oversee moderately complex projects, ensuring quality, safety, and budgetary compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project delivery.
- Develop leadership skills and improve operational efficiencies.
- Manage mid-sized projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary contact for customer communication during project execution.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and budgets.
- Perform estimating tasks and input information into the quoting system.
- Oversee key project tasks and assign responsibilities to team members.
- Generate detailed reports on project status and metrics for stakeholders.
- Maintain project schedules, risk logs, and all other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct audits and address issues as needed.
- Integrate sustainable practices into project planning and execution.
- Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Work closely with customers, contractors, and engineers to resolve challenges.
- Foster teamwork and maintain alignment on project goals.
Qualifications and Competencies
- 2-4 years of experience in project management or coordination.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of NEC standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Experience in project estimating and familiarity with quoting and takeoff processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working on projects that involve cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent are a plus.
