About the role
We're seeking a strong project manager to support our Industrial Water Team. Key responsibilities include leading engineering projects, collaborating with project teams, and providing guidance to clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects from concept to completion
- Manage project schedules, scopes, and financial success
- Communicate project progress and challenges to department management
- Provide performance feedback for project team members
- Develop and execute proposals and win new projects
- Manage contract negotiations and approvals
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve design issues
- Represent the company in the regional water and wastewater marketplace
- Provide industry feedback and trends to the water leadership team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in construction project sites or program management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software
- Professional registration preferred
- Previous consulting experience preferred
Qualifications
- Technical background in planning, design, and construction
- Experience with conventional and advanced treatment technologies
- Ability to coach and mentor engineers
