Responsibilities
- Manage LA County Public Library facility improvement and sustainability projects (Solar & EV charging)
- Oversee project planning, design, permitting, construction, and close-out
- Coordinate with library staff, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and change orders
- Review construction documents and monitor construction activities
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management and field construction experience
- Experience managing municipal infrastructure projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
- Knowledge of CEQA/NEPA
- Strong experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, construction documents, and stakeholder coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Preferred Experience
- Job Order Contracting (JOC)
- Design-Bid-Build delivery
- Deferred maintenance/refurbishment projects
- Public Contracting Code knowledge
