About the role
Viracon LLC is seeking a Project Manager I to join its team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the creation of some of the world's most elegant large-scale buildings.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and prepare orders and small-scale projects for entry into Viracon’s Viper system.
- Aid the project management team during absences to ensure timely order processing and completion of all other project management tasks.
- Delegate prepared orders to the order entry team for processing.
- Ensure order accuracy and complete order confirmations back to the customer for review.
- Manage multiple orders/projects concurrently with minimal supervision and provide excellent customer service throughout the duration of all transactions.
- Solve problems, make decisions, and resolve issues.
- Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
- Apply and utilize knowledge of Viracon’s product offerings, production capabilities, and product limitations.
- Maintain project/order files with required order information according to Viracon’s filing retention policies.
- Utilize all technical tools used by the sales department.
- Follow all processes documented in Viracon’s Business Process System.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of customer service and/or order entry experience preferred.
- The ability to learn and perform the requirements of Project Manager I role during a 6-9 month training program.
- Strong attention to detail, self-organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of fractions, decimals, and geometric patterns.
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills.
- A motivated, self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Able to promote Viracon in a positive manner with adherence to company policies.
Pay
$52,000 - $72,000 annually
