Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Cook up internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
- Guide project teams in agile processes and remove project roadblocks
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress
- Perform risk management to mitigate project risks
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
- Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project objectives
- Ensure all assigned projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Work with team and customer to develop project objectives and scope
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope and schedule
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Education and Work Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a Project Management certification such as CAPM or PMP may be considered.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools, with a familiarity with Smartsheet and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project updates to leadership
- Ability to identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies
- Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach to working with others
- Strong time management and prioritization skills aligned with business needs
Typical Physical Demands
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
