We are a leading Southeast commercial contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the growth of its healthcare construction division. This role will oversee healthcare renovations, expansions, and new construction projects while serving as a key liaison between clients, design teams, field operations, and subcontractors. Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate architects, engineers, owners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Develop and maintain project schedules and reporting
- Identify and mitigate project risks while driving successful outcomes
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and healthcare facility requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
- Healthcare construction experience required (hospital, medical office, outpatient, surgical, or specialty care facilities)
- Strong understanding of preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
- Experience managing projects in occupied and operational environments preferred
- Ability to build strong client relationships and lead project teams effectively
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
