Project manager FTTH/FTTX rollout

About the role

Responsibility for construction and commissioning of FTTS mobile communication routes, based on the project contracts agreed with the construction partners.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans with deadlines and ensure compliance with these
• Project-related communication with cities and municipalities, customers, suppliers and other internal process participants
• Manage escalation to resolution, including ensuring effective information flow and proactively prevent future escalations
• Create, implement and track short- and medium-term measures to achieve goals and proactively prevent deviations from goals
• Technical management of construction managers and the planning team within the construction projects for to implement routes and eliminate defects in the existing network
• Plausibility check of OTDR measurements and handover of FTTS routes to customer and network operation
• Design and improvement of work processes through exchange of experience with everyone involved in the project

Qualifications

• Preferably completed degree or training in a technical/commercial field
• Alternatively, relevant professional experience as a project manager (f/m/d) – also from other industries as a lateral entry with personal connection to construction
• Solid professional experience of execution and control of projects including supplier management
• High degree of independence, goal orientation and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of spoken and written German and English and the corresponding willingness to travel
