Job Summary
Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a project manager with strong technical and management skills to oversee complex projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious and adaptable to diverse work environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembles, coordinates, and manages multidisciplinary technical review teams
- Facilitates and troubleshoots issues related to complex system development and design projects
- Provides technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel
- Responds to inquiries about ongoing projects
- Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings
- Maintains liaisons with boards, committees, and commissions as needed
- Aids in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Performs project design for civil engineering projects
- Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- At least two years of previous experience in project management
