Project Manager (Focus on Millwright and Rigging), Maryville, TN

Job Summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a project manager with strong technical and management skills to oversee complex projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious and adaptable to diverse work environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembles, coordinates, and manages multidisciplinary technical review teams
• Facilitates and troubleshoots problems related to complex system development and design projects
• Provides technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel
• Responds to inquiries about projects
• Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings
• Establishes and maintains liaisons as required with boards, committees, and commissions
• Aids in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
• Performs project design for civil engineering projects
• Collaborates with staff and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• At least two years of previous experience in project management
