Project Manager (Focus on HVAC and Mechanical), Maryville, TN

Job Summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a project manager with strong technical and management skills to oversee complex projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious and adaptable to various work environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assembles, coordinates, and manages multidisciplinary technical review teams.
• Facilitates and troubleshoots issues related to complex system development and project coordination.
• Provides technical and management advice and assistance to department management and personnel.
• Responds to inquiries about ongoing projects.
• Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings.
• Maintains liaisons with boards, committees, and commissions as needed.
• Aids in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Performs project design for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinates schedules of staff and other interested parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of previous experience in project management.

Physical Demands

• Sit for extended periods.
• Talk or hear during conversations or meetings.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

• The work environment is usually quiet.
