Job Summary
Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is seeking a project manager with strong technical and management skills to oversee complex projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should be safety-conscious and adaptable to various work environments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assembles, coordinates, and manages multidisciplinary technical review teams
- Facilitates and troubleshoots problems related to complex systems and project coordination
- Provides technical and management advice to department management and staff
- Responds to inquiries about ongoing projects
- Chairs project review and pre-submittal meetings
- Maintains liaisons with boards, committees, and commissions
- Aids in developing departmental plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
- Performs project design for civil engineering projects
- Collaborates with staff and other stakeholders to coordinate schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least two years of previous experience in project management
Physical Demands
- Sit for extended periods
- Talk or hear
- Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Work Environment
- Quiet noise level
