Project Manager, Flight Test

About the role

The Flight Test Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of flight test activities to ensure program milestones are met on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Managing flight test requests
• Developing integrated schedules
• Coordinating certification activities
• Interfacing with multiple departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Developing tools and KPIs for program transparency
• Leading weekly meetings
• Maintaining risk, action, and decision logs

Requirements

• Exposure to noise, heat/cold, aircraft odors, and physical activity
• Adherence to safety and regulatory standards
• Effective communication
• Physical mobility
• Ability to handle equipment and materials safely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or aviation
• At least 8 years of program/project management experience, ideally within aerospace or flight testing
• Prior experience as a flight test or aerospace project manager is preferred
