Project Manager, Flight Test

About the role

The Flight Test Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and reporting of flight test programs to ensure milestones and requirements are met on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Managing flight test requests
• Developing integrated schedules
• Coordinating certification activities
• Liaising with various departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Developing tools and KPIs for executive transparency
• Leading weekly project meetings, managing risks, actions, issues, and decisions
• Focus on on-time and within-budget project completion, effective contractor management, stakeholder communication, and task prioritization

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related fields, with a minimum of 8 years of program/project management experience in aerospace or flight test environments.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Flight Test or Aerospace Project Manager is preferred.
