Project Manager - Electrical Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects in Reno & Las Vegas. This role will oversee project execution from preconstruction through completion while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Cook up with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Involvement in project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry
• A strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple project stakeholders
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• The ability to lead and manage electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Experience in coordinating with general contractors, owners, engineers, and subcontractors
• The ability to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Strong skills in project management, construction management, budget management, contract management, time management, planning and organizing, team management, negotiation, and risk management
• A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
