About the role
You will lead and manage projects involving the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. Your role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
- Allocate and coordinate resources including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials to keep the project on track.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Establish strong communication channels with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Maintain project budgets and expenditures to ensure staying within financial targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent technical degree.
- Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related role.
- Experience with electrical utilities.
- 5 years of experience or greater.
Qualifications
- Must have valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle.
- Willingness to travel 10-15% for site visit requirements.
- PMP certification preferred.
