Our client is a top commercial general contractor with over 20 years of experience, specializing in K-12, multifamily, healthcare, and other commercial sectors in Hershey, PA.

About the role

This position oversees all phases of construction projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality completion while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution of multiple commercial construction projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Coordinate preconstruction activities: estimating, bidding, procurement, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project expenses to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with contract requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure high-quality work.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams for workflow efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Address construction issues or unforeseen conditions with prompt solutions.
  • Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure all workers are trained on job site safety procedures.
  • Work closely with inspectors, permitting agencies, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing projects in K-12, multifamily, and healthcare sectors.
  • OSHA 30 and ProCore certifications.
