We are a commercial construction company focused in the landscape industry. We are seeking a Junior/Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to help our team grow. Someone with experience in the construction industry is ideal. We offer an amazing culture and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of (landscape) construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Implement rigorous and comprehensive quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are consistently met.
- Drive the company's financial performance and growth, including profit/loss management and day-to-day control of operational expenditure.
- Lead and motivate teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team.
- Partner with the president to execute the company's strategy, and report on key results, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Drive the company’s sustainability efforts with a focus on environmental and landscape construction.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex (landscape) construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, with a particular emphasis on environmental and landscape construction.
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, quality control, and operations management.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide teams to achieve their best.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Proficient in construction software programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on a variety of factors.
- Strong commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance with all industry regulations.
