Project Manager -Commercial HVAC

Responsibilities

• Develop piping trade construction standards for the project.
• Develop and track project schedules, including trade manpower loading.
• Establish project cost control systems to monitor equipment, materials, labor, subcontractors, and miscellaneous expenses.
• Direct trade planners in preparing shop drawings and coordinate planning activities with other trades.
• Procure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendors.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure contract compliance, workmanship, and safety.
• Follow up on warranty work and maintain communication with owners to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage large projects with minimal supervision.
• Estimate changes in project scope.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Solid knowledge of the construction process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to work on-site in Hayward, California.
• Willingness to relocate to Hayward, California, before starting work if not already local.
