About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager for our Commercial Construction division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team, where you will play a key role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, with expertise in budgeting, cost scheduling, Request for Information (RFI), subcontract administration, construction closeout, scheduling, and change orders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, including conception, definition, execution, and closure.
  • Manage project budget and cost schedule to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare and submit RFIs, ensuring all queries are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Administer and manage subcontracts, ensuring all work is completed according to specifications and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee construction closeout process, ensuring all work is completed and all documentation is submitted and approved.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and any changes or delays are communicated effectively.
  • Manage change orders, ensuring all changes are properly documented, approved, and implemented.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, cost scheduling, RFI, subcontract administration, construction closeout, scheduling, and change orders.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Pay

Salary: $85,000 - $140,000 per year
